Opening Prayer
For this we pray . . . .
For your blessing and direction in serving the under privileged and the less fortunate.
To remember that the efforts on behalf of only one, produce joy for many.
That we sinners may make our souls more pleasing to you
and more deserving of your eternal favors by the work of our hands.
That for each selfless act we perform with true benevolence,
another soul in purgatory enters into the light of heaven.
That we may always have the guidance of your Saints and Angels
to carry out good deeds and services with piety and humility.
That you bestow on our members the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.
That our Brothers & Sisters in heaven will work side by side with us
to make our efforts more pleasing to you.
That all of our Brothers and Sisters remember the big "10" rules to live by
and that we constantly strive to adhere by them.
That we are forgiven.
We ask this through your Son, Jesus Christ

We will always strive to help the less fortunate experience a more pleasant quality of life, if even for a moment, through creative and non-traditional methods. We recognize that our professional lives are not the only avenue to achieving an inner feeling of success. We understand that true act of benevolence, executed with great bravado and team spirit, are truly an accomplishment of which we can be proud. We recognize that we gain as much from the experience as the recipient. We will set a good example for the next generation of BSers by supporting their efforts, hopefully perpetuating the process. We will always respect each member's ideas and opinions but most importantly enjoy the company of our members and the fruits of our labors. We realize that there really is no such thing as a bad idea, some FUN-draisers are just a little more successful than others are.
